ExactlyBased on quality of wins UK should be a 3 seed.
Curious, who did you pull for in the UK/OSU game? No flame, honest question.Posted this last night
We will see our name called Saturday for the top 16 reveal for sure now
The NCAA committee releases their top 16 on Saturday at 12:30 PM ET and we will 100% now be in the top 16. I wonder if we have a shot at a 3 seed considering we now have 7 QUAD 1A wins not just quad 1 wins but quad 1 A which are the best kind of wins you can get. We have 8 total quad 1 wins...kentucky.forums.rivals.com
Number 10 overall. 3 seed.

AgreeNo way we are currently the last 4 seed. That’s preposterous. Most top 15 and most top 5 wins than any team in the country. Yeah, not buying that one.

Same.I'm happy. give us a 3 seed anywhere this year. I'd take that right now.
If the goal were to project what our seeding will be on Selection Sunday, taking into account how we've played up until now and injuries, I could see us as a 4 seed. It's reasonable to think we will be losing more than winning until the tournament.
If the objective is to make a bracket based on if the tournament started tomorrow, we are a 3 seed at worst. We are 15th in the NET and 8th in WAB and have more quad 1 wins than anybody not in the SEC.
Spoiler alert they won't. Your record is what it is and they are not going to discount 100 different teams for injuries at different times of the year. Will be interesting to see how the NCAA factors that in.
And you may be right.. I guess my point is that the NCAA and SC always seem to keep some ambiguous wiggle room when it comes to injuries on Selection Sunday, as you said. So will things change if Kentucky gets healthy? Or on the other hand, if Butler and Jrob were to be done for the year, do we get dropped a bit because the notion that UK isn't as good as they were previously?Spoiler alert they won't. Your record is what it is and they are not going to discount 100 different teams for injuries at different times of the year.
The only time injuries are a factor are mainly when one of the teams best players get injured and are not coming back then they will evaluate your team and knock your seed down based on the games played without the player if they have enough sample size.
We will get ZERO credit for not having Butler, Robinson, Carr, ect in games we lost.
Yeah I liked hearing that. Makes me feel a lot better that we'll be given some grace on a few of our losses.WOW he actually referenced Kentucky having injuries in the middle !!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.The NCAA top 16 were
#1 - Auburn, Alabama, Duke, Florida
#2 - Tennessee, Texas A&M, Purdue, Houston
#3 - Iowa State, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Arizona
