I think Arizona is deserving, but their weak schedule down the stretch leaves them little margin for error.
Yeah. Their profile across many metrics is quite good performance wise. Their toughest remaining game is either @UCLA or a home game against Washington State. There aren't many chances to get additional quality wins before the post season. They are in a position where if they win out, they are most likely a 1 seed. If they lose, it gets interesting.
Kentucky HAD Florida beat and blew
Kentucky was up 14 on Kansas in 2nd half and up 6 with less than 4 points left and blew it
Kentucky had a 7 point lead late at A&M and blew it including having ball tied in the final possession and turned it over to give them 2 pts then had a 3 go in and out that would won it
Kentucky had a 6 point lead on Gonzaga and let it slip away then down 2 blew the final possession without getting a shot

Wisconsin should probably get moved up to a 3 seed if they can just get ONE more win in February.
2 wins in February is HUGE. I hope they can get it done against either Maryland, the best 14-11 team in the nation or at IU, the best 14-10 team in the nation. I mean there are 6 national titles between those two teams.

We’ve only been thoroughly outplayed twice. UT at home, second half of USC on the road.
Every other loss came down to the end.
Bama has improved since the start of the season whereas we have gotten worse. We get worse as the season goes on every year since 2020 and even that team was struggling by losing to a sub .500 UT team at home and needing a miracle tip in at the buzzer, from EJ Montgomery of all people, to avoid losing to an average UF team the last two games of the year.
You could argue that we’ve been getting worse as the season goes on since 2015.

So (8-loss) #12 Wisconsin (now 9-loss) and losers of four of their previous five games (game they won, opponent fired their coach!!) is "seeded" in front of Alabama (SEC #1), Duke (ACC #2) and Illinois (B-10 #2)?????

Maybe. The SEC has been terrible most of Cal’s career so he was able to coast some seasons without having to coach much because we had such a talent advantage.
If we had beat Florida Kentucky would be taking Wisky's place right now.
Nothing can change that terrible loss to Florida when the game was all but locked up. Just fcking foul up 3 you freaking coach and I love Reed as much if not more than anyone but you can't leave their best shooter wide open from 3 up 3 with 5 seconds left.

If we can win these next 2, it would change the whole season!!! Bama is the Computer's darling, so a win at home against them could really propel us into a chance to STILL win the SEC as CRAZY as that sounds!!!
I realize we must win out to do it including a win in Knoxville, but just need to take it one game at a time. Heck, this LSU game will be a tough one!! But wouldn't it be AWESOME to go into that last game at UT with a shot at the SEC Title!!!!

Seeding is becoming irrelevant due to the transfer portal. Over the last few years double digit seeds have made the FF. We have also witnessed another 16 seed beating a #1.
Kentucky has to win regardless of seeding and the way they're playing right now, Houston, UCONN, and Kentucky are the best teams right now.
