Top 16 reveal today on CBS at 12:30 pm ET

Kentucky would been in the running if they had just beat FLorida and for sure would been in if they had beat both Florida and Gonzaga.

Here is something interesting Kentucky has not lost to any team with a losing record. In fact the worst record team they have lost to is 15-9 Texas A&M.

Where is a bunch of teams in the top 16 reveal will have had at least 1 loss to a team with a losing record. (and a last place team in their league in some cases)

Arizona lost to Oregon State (11-14) last place Pac 12
North Carolina lost to Georgia Tech (10-15) last place ACC
Kansas lost to West Virginia (8-16)
Wisconsin lost to Michigan (8-17) last place Big Ten
Duke lost to Arkansas (12-12) will have a losing record after today most likely

Making excuses for not being in the top 16 in mid February. Gold Standard, I guess, right?

UNC as a #2 and Wisconsin as a 4 is laughable. UNC has lost 3 out of their last 5, and Syracuse is bad, same for for Georgia Tech. Syracuse a quad 2 loss and Tech a quad 3. Wisconsin lost 4 in a row and Michigan is horrible. Also losing to Penn State. 17-8 with a couple of bad losses and still a 3 seed ? I do not think the win over Marquette (it is a very good win) is that big of win to keep them in the 3 seed range. The losses to Michigan and Penn State should counter the Marquette win. They have a couple other decent wins in the BIG, but nothing screaming 3 seed.

I think you can put that kind of info out about just about any team this year. They all have losses like that. Someone had to be there.

Arizona said just now to be a unanimous #1 seed by all 12 committee members.

They have an 18 point loss at Stanford (NET 102)
They have a 3 point loss at Oregon State (NET 173)
Lost vs Florida Atlantic
Lost at Washington State
Lost vs Purdue

So 3 of the 5 losses very questionable and a 4th to FAU who has had much trouble this year beating their own crappy conference.

Crazy that is how down it is this year and sadly Kentucky is down as well.

Alabama #9 overall and Duke #12 overall WTF (Auburn not yet named)

Alabama lost to Ohio State who stinks

Duke lost at home to Pitt and at Georgia Tech JFC

Auburn #13
SD State #14 (lost to Grand Canyon)
Illinois #15
Wisconsin #16

No Clemson who has wins at North Carolina and at Alabama

I don't have that problem since I have never owned a cell phone

Duke losers to Arkansas and Georgia Tech (2 teams with losing records after today most likely)
and also lost at home to Pitt

That is 3 losses to teams not in the tournament and 2 that are a country mile away.

So they get a #3 seed ???????? WTF

Duke should be a 5, borderline 4. Pretty stupid.

I understand UK only has themselves to blame, but why does it not seem losses do not effect other teams like it does UK when it comes to Seed line despite us playing in what is considered the best conference this year?

Look no further than how they are seeding Wisky, Duke, & UNC? Wisky lost 4 in a row to some bad teams, 3 out of 5 for UNC in a week ass ACC. Duke has been meh all year.
