All-time favorite defensive player at UK for me. Interceptions in, I think literally, almost every huge UK win in that period. LSU, UofL, Arkansas, and Georgia he created turnovers at crucial points to lead to wins. Also, Trevard Lindley may be the most underrated player in UK history. He is the best CB I've seen at UK.
That was a really big win because it was a road win and they were the only other team to beat LSU that year. I may be wrong, but I remember having to listen to it on the radio like it wasn't televised but that's why it's not as well remembered. I remember Les Miles said at end.of the year after their championship that the Arkansas loss was LSU being sloppy and too many mistakes but the UK loss was the one where they were outplayed and out physicaled. The win at Arkansas with McFadden and Jones, the best #1 #2 rbs I have seen in college fb, after beating UL the week before, at Arkansas, is often under-rated. That team also beat LSU that year. Keenan Burton was the best all around wr imho that I have seen at UK. Shame his injuries derailed what could have been.
