To land a top 3 seed what does our record the rest of the way need to be?

We have 7 games left, I feel a 5-2 record of our last 7 would get us to a solid 3 seed. At bama is the most difficult game left but auburn at home will be no picnic but at least it’s in rupp. 7 games to go. We are at a crossroads to make a run. How can we land a 2 or 3 seed?

I agree ... we need to finish 11-7, 22-9. We can do it, if we keep shooting the ball well. Not sure if the SECT factors into anything.

Beat LSU, Vandy, Texas, and one of the others and you’re a 3…maybe a 2 depending on the secT.

But w our health issues…. I’m good to hold on to that 4 seed and be healthy to start the tournament. We can make a F4 from the 4 seed…..get a lot more difficult to make a run when you drop below that line

I think increasing our defensive rankings have just as much to do (or more) for our seeding as our record does. Gotta get those numbers up.

Go 1-1 vs Bama/Auburn
2-0 at Rupp vs Vandy/Lsu
2-1 in road games vs Tex/Ok/Mizz

That puts UK at 5-2 to end the year with one additional top 5 win. That’s a resume that would be hard to keep out of at least a 3 seed.
