To anybody who has seen Louisville play (I have not) how good are they honestly ?

I don't see how anyone can knock their schedule, they play 11 P5 teams and 4 of them are undefeated today. They play who their conference schedules them to play. And that conference is 4-1 against SEC at this point and some of those are against our bette
And then what happens?

You’re saying opinions are facts? How about what has actually been proven on the field? I don’t think any P5 team has an easier first four games than you guys.
So what has been proven in the head to head games on the field the last few years?

Ball State is probably as good as IU. UK got Ball State at home, while UL was on the road at IU. Nod to UL.

EKU is better than Murray State. Huge nod to UK.

Georgia Tech is much better than Akron. Huge nod to UL.

I would say after 3 games, UL’s schedule has been a bit more difficult than UK’s.

Conference play will shift that to UK.

Indiana plays Akron this week, so we will see……

Texas totally whipped Bama, even though Bama did come back on them.
Whatever….Make up narrative

Texas was better team but Bama had the lead in fourth qtr and there were not crazy To or special teams that went against Texas. So I don’t know how that is Texas totally whipped Bama

Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama aren’t great teams this year, no more so than ND, Miami, Duke.
Every single year you morons talk about some SEC teams being down. A SEC schedule is brutal dude. More pros from the sec than any other conf and it’s not even close. The whole conference is bigger, stronger and faster. You pretend to know football and don’t know that? All you have is an uneducated opinion.

It’s ul, of course they make up their own narrative. Not sure who convinced them of so much delusion when it comes to anything in college athletics. Probably their former messiah Jurich.

They just continue to bow at the silo alter off I65 of the …: “Greatest College Sports Town in America”. 🤣🤣🤣

I know the silo is gone (sadly) before these clowns run to comment.

A poll in the preseason had you guys 1 or 2 easiest. Also, most "experts" have the ACC as the weakest of the FBS conferences to this point. That fact alone should tell you that you are not even close to UK's schedule. But, we have this argument every year. You guys were denying this when you were in the Metro, or Conference USA, or the Big Least, or whatever other conferences you could not get/earn respect in.
You’re talking about preseason when Louisville only had 1 Top 25 team on the schedule to start the season. Currently Louisville has 3 Top 25 teams on the schedule and UK has 4 Top 25 teams on your schedule currently.

According to the Sagarin ratings SOS after 3 games

Georgia is at 107
Louisville is at 114
Kentucky is at 191

If you could read you would have seen that I said both were preseason but, there were others posted since that showed that UK SOS is stronger. It really depends on what site you choose, but in the end most who follow college football know UK's schedule is generally much harder than UL's.

Hard to tell who is good and who is overrated, most play cupcakes the first few games and it's hard to come to any definite conclusion. I personally think Colorado is the MOST or one of the top few overrated. We will see where they stand this week, just like a lot of teams. Bama will only get better, they have finally put the right QB back in, he was not the problem, the Oline is. Get that corrected and a couple defensive matters straight, they will make a run.

Think they are a lot like us and they look inconsistent most of the time. Neither team has played anyone worth a damn.
They may have the program’s most favorable schedule since entering the ACC. I think Brohm is a good coach but not great just like ours. Lots of parallels in the programs right now. I know Satterfield seemed soft and not great but he stabilized that place after Petrino left a crater in it. Brohm took over a decent spot with the roster and schedule. Still think the difference in us is their OL vs our DL. It used to be we had a huge advantage on both lines but our OL has shit the bed the last 2 years.
When you say Satterfield stabilized the program. That’s a fact. Remember, The Bear was offered the job and turned it down. That was a smart move. Petrino left it in shambles. He wanted no part of the beat downs we put on them the last few years. He was smart to let Sat be the 3 year rebuild coach.

So our schedule is back loaded. That happens a lot. While we go through our stretch of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama remind me who you guys will be playing??? Personally, I would much rather have saved some of the soft in our schedule till later in the year. We don’t make that decision. Usually we play Florida in the first 3 games because the SEC doesn’t want them playing in cold weather. I have never noticed if the ACC protects there warm weather schools like the SEC does. We always end our years with Vandy, Tennessee,Mizzou. You will never see Florida, Texas, Oklahoma north of warm weather after October. This was a thrown together year and broke a lot of trends. We go to no divisions next year and it screwed up schedules this year.

Every single team in the SEC, Vandy included, has pulled a Top 40 or better recruiting class the past several years. Take Vandy out and this jumps to Top 30.

I'll say that again in a different way: 13 of the current 14 teams in the conference make up just under half of the Top 30 in the team recruiting rankings consistently. Every other conference in the country combined claims the other half.

Doesn't always result in a perfect OCC schedule, but it makes for a weekly grind against the best, biggest, and strongest athletes in college football that just doesn't occur on the same level in any other conference.

SEC teams aren't always superior teams in every game they play, but they are generally more talented. This league is just different, and it's foolish to compare our schedule to an ACC schedule, and especially an ACC schedule that doesn't even include Clemson, Florida State, Wake Forest, and North Carolina. (3 of those 4 teams have all but begged publicly for an SEC invite).

Recruiting classes are nice but the portal is where it’s at. Vandy might sign some good players, those players that evolve into good players will most likely transfer. Look at Colorado and the portal for example.

And Now the SEC starts, revisit that at the end of the season
