to Tayvion Robinson and Smoke. Make no mistake, Robinson came here to catch passes and boost his draft stock much like Wandale. Thanks to injuries and unusual circumstances he found himself in need of filling in at RB. He did so without pouting, just put his head down and went to work, sign of a great team mate. Didn't have a ton of yards but his carries spelled others. Here's hoping the RB Room settles down, CRod gets back, injured guys heal and Robinson gets back to catching passes.

Smoke will never be confused with top of the line SEC RBs but is a solid journeyman who gives his all. The guy had 80 yards rushing last night, most in the second half, no lost yardage(was hoping for a late TD), ran tough and hard. UK's lucky he has decided to stay with the program. This is the type of player teams need to build successful programs.

Wright is better then people are giving him credit for. He’ll hit a man to keep the QB safe, he’ll run the ball hard, and catch the ball if the QB runs outta options
He's learning. Missed a blitzer that led to a sack, also late picking up a blitzer that led to a Levis INT. But he also made some good pick ups too. I feel had UK not called a TO shortly before the last FG he would've had a TD. Good future.

Even when CRod gets back we will still see Robinson taking a few snaps at RB. They’re using him like the 49er’s use Debo. Line him up all over the field including RB to get the ball in his hands. Don’t think it was because of injury ect:. It’s a product of what Scans saw in San Fran

I get that but UK went into the UF game with only 2 healthy RBs available.

Stoops actually said that was on them not him as he was out in a no win spot due to alignment on that one. He was focused on another assignment and want suppose to be taking he blitzed but had to when nobody else was there and tried to get there late to stop him but couldn’t quite get there in time

Yup! That TO took away a TD 100%

Was wondering why Robinson was not involved in the passing game much? Was it because they needed him as possible RB or did Florida defense just scheme for him?
