Three stats worth knowing about Texas A&M

Offensive rebounds and foul baiting are all A&M is. If Kentucky box out and rebounds, and for once gets a good rupp whistle, they win going away

- Somebody called into KSR today and pointed out pace of play is the biggest factor in whether we win.
- The teams that are below the top 100 in average possessions have beat us all three times.
- Would love to break out a full court press to start the game against the Aggies.
- Can’t let them keep it slow
Also , A&Ms football team didn’t make the playoffs. So far that seems to be the MOST important thing.

Kentucky needs to make them take (and make) tough twos.

A&M ranks 259th in the nation in percentage of shots taken from three (35.9%)
A&M ranks 280th in the nation in three-point percentage (30.9%)

The key to tonight's game is NOT foul them and don't turn the ball over. This is what they live on.

A&M ranks 20th in the nation in free throw rate (43.4% of their points)
A&M ranks 35th in the nation in turnover defense (21.3 forced per game)

2 out of 3, they also do defensive turnovers / fast breaks.

It’s a different kind of basketball.

Hope the Ags win tonight, but it will be tough without IV. And I hope UK has a good game… just not as good at A&M

I think it was the SC/Auburn game I was watching. The announcers literally said, with a few minutes left, “the refs are going to let most things go from here out, so the players will have to play through contact.”
Wtf! This is not basketball. A&M is going to come in hacking and pushing and it will be interesting if they are allowed to do so or not. Every game is crap shoot as far as what kind of whistle the game will get.

The over/under on falls after they shoot a jumper tonight & then how many they call for them? Atleast 3 seems the standard in the past 2 games plus JR will get called for a back breaking push off on the defensive end. Like the guy will need ems kind of flop we’ve seen in the last 2 games.
