Three number ones getting the shaft.

No, bro. I was speaking up for everyone you said was a troll. I’m just saying BBN can have people with different perspectives with things, that’s all. Not one hivemind that all agrees on every minor detail. God bless
There ARE trolls in this thread. I know this because of their posting history. And for some peculiar reason Duke fans like to troll. They are weird like that. Either way I mentioned no names. Not sure why any Kentucky fan would go out of their way to act like Duke doesn't have a long history of favoritism and privilege, much less get so pissy about it. Just a contrarian, I suppose? Thanks for the blessing. I need all I can get. God bless you as well.

I know Duke has a lot of privilege. Never contested that. Anywho have a good night, Go Cats!

From wiki.
On September 12, 2016, the NCAA stripped the state of North Carolina of hosting rights for seven upcoming college sports tournaments and championships held by the association, including early round games of the 2017 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament scheduled for the Greensboro Coliseum. The NCAA argued that House Bill 2 made it "challenging to guarantee that host communities can help deliver [an inclusive atmosphere]".[49][50] Bon Secours Wellness Arena was able to secure the bid to be the replacement site.[51] In an ironic twist, Durham-based Duke would suffer a defeat to South Carolina in a second-round game at Greenville that year.
I assumed that’s what you were talking about but wasn’t totally sure. Since 2015, NC has hosted NCAA games in 2016 (Raleigh), 2018 (Charlotte), 2023 (Greensboro) and 2024 (Charlotte) so 4 tournaments in a row that NC hosted and Duke didn’t play there.

The state of NC is lucky because they have Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte that are not the home arena for Duke or UNC. In Kentucky, UK and UL each have one place to play. Always sucks for the Cats. Luckily, locations like Indy, Nashville and Atlanta have been really strong neutral sites

Kentucky has played in the state of Kentucky 18 times in the history of the program with 14 of the 18 coming 40+ years ago. Duke on the other hand has played 40 NCAA tournament games in Raleigh alone. Then throw in games in Charlotte, Greensboro plus the games they played at home when the NCAA allowed it and you understand why those "stupid people" have a reason to discuss it.

How is that for research?
I got nothing against ya, but your research is off. They have played in the state of NC 40 times total between all venues. Still a lot, but your research was off a bit

I was doing a little searching and in Dukes 15 number 1 seeds, they've played in North Carolina 13 times. I could have missed a couple though. Thanks for your info. Good stuff.
