I couldn't pass on the chance to share that insult to both the Jailhawks and IUse2Be...

And it could be true. Of course, the Portal looms for all teams. And Self will be recruiting every woman abuser eligible for parole in Leavenworth...But right now Kansas has an NIT roster coming back, and Toupee Bill Self is giving off "Calipari 2022-2024" vibes...The fans on The Phog are about as enthusiastic about Self as Rafters posters were about Calipari after the Oakland game.

Indiana at least has a new coach, if an pretty uninspiring one.

I wonder where KneePads and Noone'sCorner are thee days? They were like a bad rash around here for a while. Imagining their pain makes the Jailhawks flop from preseason #1 even better.

I think people are getting a little dramatic with this stuff. Yesterday was their first 1st round loss in 19 seasons.

They won the NCAAT 3 years ago. They have been to 5 Elite Eights, 2 Final Fours and won a title in the last 9 seasons.

I loved watching them crap the bed this year but I think the downfall of KU basketball is a bit premature at this point.

Your statements are not accurate.

* Kansas has advanced passed the first weekend once in the past six NCAA Tournaments.

* They've been to five Elite Eights in the past 13 seasons, not nine as you claim -- and, oh yeah -- ONE OF THOSE WAS VACATED for cheating and lying, as was a Final Four.

Here are the facts from their website. Note the asterisk for VACATED: Count back five Elite Eights: That's 2012, even including the vacated year and that's more than nine seasons.

But otherwise It's been a very mediocre run for Self in recent years -- one NON-VACATED Sweet Sixteen appearance since 2017, even with the benefit of cheating, as confirmed by the NCAA.

it has got me chuckling....

So Indiana didn't even make it, UNC*** is the controversial story and gift - that keeps on wiping, Louisville is out. Kansas is out already.

Kentucky has yet to even play our game today.

Funny how this year has panned out so far !

Hope we can get that monkey off our back tonight !

It is funny that anytime a program describes its decline into mediocrity, the comparison is always to Indiana. lol

You think with the yearly scandals that have plagued KU ona yearly basis isn’t close to Cal no longer going to a final four every other year? Imagine if Cal had players accused of rape, beating up cars, etc. Self is about as low as they come.

Yeah....they have been extremely consistent for years. They win the Big 12 like UK won the UKIT. You can argue how good the league was but they have typically beat everyone in the league year in and year out. They sucked this year. They may suck next year but winning a title a few years ago while we couldn't beat anyone would be a trade I'd make with anyone.

Houston has dominated the Big 12 since they joined it. They are 39-5 against Big 12 teams the last two years, with 2 regular season and 1 tournament championship.

Counting the title year, they've gone out first weekend in 5 of the last 6 tournaments and usually have a good seed.

I see why the natives are restless in Lawrence.
