Karl going Pro is a no Brainer, name the last time a kid projected as 1 or 2 did not go pro. Thanks for the memories and and I wish him the best.
WCS needs to go and everything points to him headed that way. As mad as I was with the comments Webber made, unfortunately he is right.I really thought WCS would come out with a vengance but with a 2 point 3 rebound performance I was really disappointed. In WCS 3 years here he has yet to develope post moves, or with his quickness and length has developed any kind of offensive moves besides increasing his free throw percentage. He should have dominated the last 2 games and unfortunately he did not
I am up in the air about Trey and Devin, both could come back and be lottery picks, if they aren't already. Kind of all over the drafts so I am not sure whats what with them.
I am up in the air about Dakari also, cold he or would he start for this team next year. I think so, and if he does will he be effective. He is slow and has no explosivness but good hands and some post moves make him effective in college. One more year will not hurt or help Dakari. Who we have coming in will have an affect on if Dakari should stay.
Now for the Twins and Alex Poythress-
Just because you come to UK does not give the righ of passage to the NBA. While I think all 3 would go to the D League and eventually make a PRO roster, it's not anytime soon unfortunately. All 3 of those guys will need to find the right situation ala Jody Meeks, Chuck Hayes. These guys really need to look at some of the players we had that left early like Doron Lamb, Maquis Teague, Archie Goodwin, Daniel Orton to name a couple. Has anyone seen 1st round pick James Young this year besides a couple of brief stints with the Celtics. I understand that you can still get your degree while playing in the D-League, but who gets more exposure, a D-leaguer or a kid who plays on the most prestigous college basketball team in the nation. Aaron and Andrew do not consistantly show up on draft boards enough for me to say they should go, and Alex not at all. How in the world can they make that decision knowing they will both be on the Wakita River Rats next year. I hope all 3 make it if they decide to go, they will play but I am not sure it will be stateside any time soon for them.
