Thoughts on Carr

I also think he’s got a lot of Grant Nelson in him. Maybe doesn’t put it on the floor as well but may turn out to be the better shooter.

Took 97 shots from 3 last season and made 36 of them. Took 215 shots inside the arc and made 59.5% of those. In that he took 47% of his FGA at the rim and made 67% of those. Also, he took 137 free throws and made 78.1% of them. He should thrive in Pope's offense.

In 4 games against the SEC last season he scored 88 points(18 and 31 against UGA, 22 against UF, and 17 against LSU), grabbed 34 rebounds, and blocked 8 shots. Pretty damn good demonstrated performance.

In conference he shot 58% from 2, 37.3% from 3 in 59 attempts, and at the free throw line he shot 79.7%
His averages were 12.1 pts, 5.7 boards, 1.7 assists, and 1.2 blocks.

I like the Grant Nelson comparison.

No one has ever called Carr a physical player . Not his game . That’s why his rebounds is low
Carr had 17 games with 8+ rebounds last season, and it would have been higher if Wake's center (Reid) didn't cannibalize on his stats. He also had some individual games that hurt his average because of how Wake strategized in those particular games.
