I think Cunningham should seriously consider entering the transfer portal after this game to see what his other options might be, at the very least. He could certainly start at almost every other program in the country, and there are/will be multiple high level programs looking for a portal QB in the offseason (Ole Miss, Auburn, North Carolina come to mind, but there will be more). Landing at one of these spots with more refined coaching could help his status and development as a draft prospect, while also allowing him to play on a bigger stage with more recognition and NIL money. And of course, it would be an absolute dagger to the heart of UL, which wouldn’t be the worst thing to see.
