This Saturday is a football fans dream

I’ve gotten to the point where I would rather do chores than watch the NFL. In general I’m not that curmudgeonly but the Bengals wiped out all my enthusiasm for professional football on January 9, 2016, and I have never gotten it back. I did not even care about the run to the Super Bowl a couple years ago. It’s like I got divorced.

Throw in the UK basketball game and it’s a lot of fun and games! Agree with ya!
My neighbor and good friend is a big Ohio State fan, he grew up in Ohio, so we and the wives have plans to watch the UK/OSU basketball game, then the OSU/UT football game following that. Just hope I'm over this damn sinus infection I've had the past week by then.

Scotch will funnel out that infection....

Yeah, but some of those college players are transfers and are getting paid. So the playoff games are on their way out

- signed, a moron

Don't really care about the NFL, but the next couple of week are awesome for college football games.

KC vs Texans
Steelers vs Ravens
3 CFP games
FCS semifinals

My butt will be parked in front of the TV
How good of a football day is it? It's good enough that I have the basketball game set to record. We're in East TN for Christmas, and I will be planted in my in-laws downstairs den with the door closed. It's cold and dreary outside and the Christmas shopping is all done. My late afternoon/early evening will consist of pizza from Italian Village, a few Pacifico beers and quality time with a recliner.

IU deserved its spot. It did not pick its B1G schedule. It lost once. Not much more to consider. If IU did not deserve a spot, Notre Dame did not deserve a spot.

Could the ACC suck? Is that possible?

So a team with no T25 wins and beat one, and I mean ONE team with a winning record all year is one of the best 12 teams? I don't buy that and neither should anyone.

First, the playoff should be no more than 4 teams. But, if you are going to include 12, a team that played a B1G schedule and only lost one game (against one of the top teams in the playoffs) deserves to be in more than a team that lost to Vandy or one that lost to UK. Bama and Ole Miss with IU’s schedule don’t have a better record.
