Too bad we can’t recruit a backup QB like every other team can.We have an SEC QB he could not play last night because he was hurt ! Some of you so called fans need to not post until the next day.

His 1st game playing he passed for 2 TD's . He was not that bad. The blame has to go to the OL. They are letting the QB get sacked to many times.Too bad we can’t recruit a backup QB like every other team can.
His pass to Briwn was spot on. Right in the hands. Brown just dropped it. That’s on Brown. People cramping on Sheron are covering up for the line for some damn reason. His 1st game playing he passed for 2 TD's . He was not that bad. The blame has to go to the OL. He’s made many head shakin calls over the years.This. No reason to start the game off like that. Set the tone for the rest of the game in my opinion.
I can’t argue with that but he has leaned towards being ultra conservative. This goes against all of that. Very out of character. He’s made many head shakin calls over the years.
If you supposedly have a top 10 quarterback, no way he sits out with injury to non throwing hand, took this game for granted, tired of his foolishness
I’m saying that when Will Levis played against ole miss, the $1.5m check hadn’t cleared yet. That made him want to play. Once the check cleared, he became worried about his draft stock.
IdiotYup always on the coach when your QB gets paid 1.5 million and quits playing days later.
Lol, Steve McNair, a ancient comparison, people didnt play with broken pinkies back then, man up, only idiot on here is you trolling and calling everybody else one, go play with kids...bye boyIdiot, Steve McNair was out quite a few games with the same injury.
You were probably “4-0” guy a couple of weeks ago weren’t you?Biggest winner in program history. ....
This is EXACTLY what's going on here at Iowa right now-- it is just going much worse. Kirk Ferentz controls the offense-- gives his OC a box to work within (a limited box mind you). He's made it work because of an exceptional defense through the years but now this season has been rough and the offense has been completely exposed and nobody is happy about it.This is now what, OC #5? #6? I can’t remember anymore. Anyway, Stoops controls what the offense is. I’m not saying he’s meddling in play calling or anything like that. But his OCs are clearly brought in and told what is expected out of them and it‘s always going to be complementary to his conservative, defensive oriented approach. This is almost inarguable at this point.
Nice job idiot.Lol, Steve McNair, a ancient comparison, people didnt play with broken pinkies back then, man up, only idiot on here is you trolling and calling everybody else one, go play with kids...bye boy
We took a step under Coen for the positives but this is the most classic stoops ball we’ve ever seen. This is EXACTLY what's going on here at Iowa right now-- it is just going much worse. We’ve always been known for basketball, but we better be a “football school” in funding and facilities. We have always been a basketball school.

I have felt this way for the longest time. Why would you not want to put the best possible offense on the field along with the best possible defense? Screw the two having to "work together". Your defensive stats may suffer a bit, but who cares. You're still trotting the same guys onto the field there. Just because what Stoops has done to this point has worked better than previous coaches, it doesn't necessarily mean that's the best that can be done. Why would we not want an offense like MS ST that can score points quickly and always have a good QB that can pass the ball a lot and be effective? Why not immulate that offense with the weapons we have this year? They are scoring a lot of points and you know their QB and receivers are probably similar to ours. Obvious we have ONE stud runner so it seems that emphasizing a high powered passing attack to take pressure off that one runner makes more sense.
