This on Stoops

Did dude miss the report about turf toe and the fact that he was in a boot during warmups today? Like, he thought Levis missed the game because of his finger even though he came right back in and finished the game?

Holy moly, losing brings out some unique ones.

This is now what, OC #5? #6? I can’t remember anymore. Anyway, Stoops controls what the offense is. I’m not saying he’s meddling in play calling or anything like that. But his OCs are clearly brought in and told what is expected out of them and it‘s always going to be complementary to his conservative, defensive oriented approach. This is almost inarguable at this point.

You can say ass amigo. So, did Levis just quit on the team this week. Is that what you're saying? You think Stoops held him out on purpose? Is that what you're saying? Turf toe is a serious issue and usually lasts longer than a week. He was hobbled (and dislocated) last week and kept playing.

You're being obstinate for no reason.

The biggest question is why we don’t have a serviceable backup. Or why the backup we have didn’t get more reps against cupcake U.

Or why we seem to have forgotten how to tackle at the LOS.

Or how ST became a disaster.

Last week really really hurts.
Excellent post. Big time football programs have answers to those questions.

Stoops can't let go of Iowa and Hayden Frye football.

Just wanted to make sure since you aren't being clear. Your OP states he sat out with a non-throwing hand injury which is false. So Levis is a liar and a loser. Got it.

It also implies Levis is foolish, which I'm sure you didn't intend. Subject > verb and such.

I like Stoops, but the teams with the high powered tempo offense is what wins games. He will never be a coach that wins big, with his offensive style.
He has won big. If 10 win seasons don't move the needle for you that is your issue.

I’m saying that when Will Levis played against ole miss, the $1.5m check hadn’t cleared yet. That made him want to play. Once the check cleared, he became worried about his draft stock.

We can find things to criticize Stoops about last night, but Levis being hurt isn’t one of them. Anyone who believes he wouldn’t play if he could’ve is off base IMO. Levis is way too good of a leader and too much of a competitor to sit out if he can play.

We have an SEC QB he could not play last night because he was hurt ! Some of you so called fans need to not post until the next day.
