Yeah, for some to say that it's not an important part of our life is disingenuous and shows me they do not get it. It was a part of me and my family from my earliest memories and it is part of us. No it's not more important of many things in life, but it's a fun and important part of our life.
Agreed. I see nothing but bad intentions by OP here. Very clearly just trying to make fans miserable. Why even post if that’s what you’re about?Yea never understood the guys that claim it’s not a big deal, doesn’t impact your life, you’re living through it, calling die hards miserable etc.
Yes it’s a big deal, yes it’s impacted my life in more ways than one, yes I live through it, and yes there are times it makes me miserable.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. At least I'm honest AR 1st, Ky 2nd ( I know weird) college basketball fan, ,junkey in general, no NBA.
Long time ago it was AR only if they wasn't on I never watched.
Over the years that has changed.
Sorry can't do that but you can keep trying me from time to time!!But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
^Time to drop the Hogs, my brother 😂
Some are just stupid. It amazes me how people like to OP love to wag their finger in UK fans faces, but justify their own irrational takes saying Kentucky won't get a home run hire, Duke is going to win it all and can't wait to see players leave.
Nobody that is a half fan of UK and half of other colleges is ever truly going to be a fan of UK in my book. I would say most of us were raised as UK fans and that was the only school we knew of rooting for since birth. We didn't grow up and realize we wanted to be fans of a college and choose one.But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

I don’t believe that you can truly understand what being a part of the BBN is all about unless you’re a Kentuckian.Nobody that is a half fan of UK and half of other colleges is ever truly going to be a fan of UK in my book. I would say most of us were raised as UK fans and that was the only school we knew of rooting for since birth. We didn't grow up and realize we wanted to be fans of a college and choose one.
I agree for the most part. Unless you were raised by Kentuckians that’s moved out of state or something.I don’t believe that you can truly understand what being a part of the BBN is all about unless you’re a Kentuckian.
I have to say the last 4-5 years of Cal did change my perspective some. I, like you, didn't miss a UK game and if I did I recorded it to watch later. During some of the crappy seasons with Cal recently I realized I was neglecting my family to some extent or making them change plans just so I could stay home to watch UK play. I no longer do that as family should always come first and at least Cal helped me realize that you are only gifted so long to spend with them and not to waste it for a basketball game. Not ashamed to admit that UK sports do infact take up a fair bit of my life. From the age of about 5-6 I would watch games with my Mamaw and Papaw not really knowing what was going on except the blue and white team are the good guys. Short of the Lord returning there's not a whole lot that takes precedent over a UK game being on.
Especially since the program has returned from Cal/ NBA University.
