i like him in stretches but not at the expense that tre and aaron get less minutes. He had a stretch in the 2nd half when I wanted him on the bench.
He played well overall but during about a 5 min stretch in the 2nd half he singlehandedly kept UNC in the game.
Both Thiero and Edwards are at 25% from deep (and Thiero has taken one as a half court heave). Edwards mock draft profiles already mentioned the fact that he struggled to shoot from outside and would airball one before making the next (we’ve seen that from both he and Thiero).I am a big Thiero fan. But.... he simply doesn't yet have the outside touch that Edwards does. Now Edwards hasn't yet shown that yet (25%) but we are pretty sure it's there (to be a 35% 3pt shooter). Theiro is still more bull in china shop, and I'm ok with that. How he is playing thus far, Edwards gives us almost nothing and if that were to continue would be unplayable. The hope and expectation is that he starts giving us what he is thought to be capable of. Theiro, on the other hand, is what he is. And that's ok, but we need what he brings.
We are lucky to have the young man and such a pleasure to watch play the game. He plays the game at a high level without the ball.Dude was hustling every time the camera was on him. I hadn't seen anyone mention him in any of the threads and I just wanted to call out Adou for busting his ass tonight. He was Johnny Hustle on the court. Great job man!
