They just\t knocked Carr to the floor on the rebound. No call.
Obvious walk not called and bogus foul on Garrison.
I actually think the way they are calling the game has helped Kentucky play D by a vast amount today. So not sure why people are complaining the only complaint from me is that Carr block and that goal tend. We would have been called in past games for several of the plays on D that these refs did not call a foul on. Would you rather that ? I know a few times a defending has used his body to stop the drive and no call and that 3 pointer they shot no call when I am sure in other guys that been 3 FT's
Goal tend in the 1st half was a joke, clearly blocked by JR first then this stupid T with all the jawing going on. Again, reds think we are there to see them & no accountability is the problem.

We win by 23. They shot 10 more Ft’s than we did. The goal tend on Oweh, the Carr foul, the T on Garrison. Not to mention every time we look funny at somebody a ref is running at one of our guys to give them a lecture. A truly oddly officiated team we have. A conspiracy theorist might think the league has an agenda.

I think he was mimicking a gun. Almanor even did it back to him when he went to the bench. Hate the call or not Garrison had already been warned (maybe even twice) earlier in the game.

Ayers thru a guy out this week for tapping his head like Garrison did today. He gets away with it so he makes a fake gunshot sign. Plain and simple stupidity.

One of the glaring issues I have noticed multiple times this year is what is a traveling violation? I've seen teams swap pivots twice then do a step thru!

By the time they actually blew the whistle, I thought the foul was on Carr. However, if you watch the replay, the SC player (Pringle maybe?) had a handful of Carr’s jersey, which is what ultimately lead to Carr pushing/fouling.

Not to mention, I am not sure why so many illegal screens are allowed…the screener is either moving OR they set a screen by extending their arms and pushing the UK defender.
That’s ridiculously easy to see AND call, but it seems like EVERY team does it to the Cats constantly. SC wasn’t as bad today as many of the teams in the SEC have been.

The arm extensions on screens were especially bad recently…I do t remember exactly, but I think it was maybe against UT….Milicic and/or Phillips
Clemson played very aggressively (nothing wrong with that) but there should be “some” consequences for teams that play that style. I believe Clemson had 15 fouls total called on them that game and had no one in foul trouble. Oweh fouled out of that game.
Oh yeah, i agree with you that Clemson definitely played too aggressive/physical for the low number of fouls called on them.

Been seeing a lot of 2h 15min+ games lately. Usually that's a sign of a ref show
I don't, the excessive contact night in night out is why we have so many injuries IMO. I will always wonder what this team could have done if they could have stayed healthy.
I am watching now and the refs have let way too much go. It’s another SEC football game on a basketball court. It’s pathetic. Too many arm bars and way too much hand checking. Just awful.
Too many subjective calls that can be called heavily one way, and thats how the refs/NCAA can influence the outcome.
Its not something we want to see, but we have to use more reviews and coaching challenges. Yes that slows the game down, but if that's what we have to do to ensure we take the human element out of this, then so be it.

The game has turned into "Thug-ball", with traveling, 3-second violations, holding, and hands-on your opponent seldom being called.
The SEC definitely has. It is to the point where I think when the tournament comes around SEC teams will be in foul trouble and some bounced earlier than expected with a more traditional whistle.

Another angle on the SEC officiating is we get used to being physical in our league. We get assigned some mountain West officials in the the NCAA and next thing we know is we have 3 starters on the bench in foul trouble.
