First, Ulis has to be able to provide us that second threat from the perimeter shooting the basketball. Darius Miller was that second threat in 2012 (and to a lesser degree Wiltjer). We can't allow teams to pack the lane and clog our driving lanes. If Ulis can't hit outside shots while running the offense, we will not be elite.
Secondly, Skal has to be a post threat from an offensive and defensive standpoint. He has to catch the ball in the post and develop a go-to post move at some point. He has to get stronger and rebound the basketball. He has to alter shots. Doesn't even have to block shots, just alter them.
The rest of our players are what they are imo and will thrive if the two above things happen. All of them will undoubtedly improve, but I really feel our season hinges on the above two points. Having said these things, it's early December. Let's focus on getting better like we always do.
