How is Russia sending a message of strength when they have to recruit Chechens and Norks for meat wave assaults and weapons?

PS - the NK deployment was the one that shocked me
I STILL have a hard time believing that's 100% real, man

The entire conflict is bizarre & seems to feature some PSYOP type fake events -
And zero strategy or victory conditions for the west


I don't think RUS wanted to project power widely as we have done
And they haven't mobilized or leveraged military assets this widely since their Afghanistan war - think that ended around 1987-1989

I hope the Trump admin defers to the Minsk Agreement as the preferred vehicle for ceasefire and a treaty going forward -

Russia can't be trusted to hold up the Minsk protocols, this time. It isn't even a validly signed agreement.

You can go to the 4 minute mark where he talks about 1/3 of a brand new brigade surrendering or deserting before even getting into a fire fight. These are not new predictions, just extensions of those predictions over the past three years. The Atlantic Council is described as a hawkish entity, so this message could be motivated to encourage more of the same. But, maybe it is correct. Maybe after three years of mass death in the Ukraine/Russia war we will see more death, but Russia finally falter. Maybe. While such predictions have been wrong over the past three years, with Russia’s GDP growing by 3.6 percent in 2023 and an expected 4 percent in 2024, maybe the tipping point is 2025 and more piled on death will finally lead to an end to this war. But, if not, we can expect arguments as to why more death will be necessary for 2026.

You may want to evaluate what within you gives you the impression that you are the old fart to tell others to STFU. People with loser positions tend to prefer others remain silent.

People like you dismiss the true cost of war. Death that does not impact you, does not affect you. Makes it easy to talk in abstracts about how long a war may last and collateral advantages gained by war.
