full force today. First off, thanks to every single fan who went to the presser and let the rest of the college basketball world know that UK is still the greatest program in college basketball history. Through all of the highs and lows, there has always been that one constant. The FANS!!
I like to imagine other coaches and fans of the other programs who think they are the best came to the realization today that they will never replace UK in the pecking order.
I thought Pope was tremendous in how he handled today and wish him nothing but success and congratulations to the whole UK administration. This was done right and the right words were spoken. They have been paying attention and today proved it.
No idea how this upcoming season will go or even the next for that matter, but I believe UK will be in good hands for the time being and foreseeable future. Just have to wait and see, but I definitely can feel the apathy is no longer there.
