Assuming we don't move up or down before signing day, our last three classes averaged #31 overall. That's about right where we thought we would be with Stoops. With more wins, we can break into the top #25.

Look I'm upset like the rest of you, but the class we bring in right now isn't nearly as important as the talent we have now getting wins on the field. Those two things don't even necessarily correlate with each other considering few of those freshman would play significant roles.

We know Stoops can recruit. We've seen him do it. We went after the big boys, just like everyone wanted, and we came up short. If anything, it helps our fan base keep things in perspective, and maybe helps us realize that we still have a long way to go. This isn't an overnight thing.

Right now all the fallout is probably demoralizing to the rest of the team. Once signing day is over and Spring practice gets into full swing, hopefully all this junk will slip into the past like an old memory and everyone can begin concentrating on the important stuff. The bad behavior needs to stop immediately and we need at least a half-way decent class. Then, assuming nothing else falls from the sky, things should settle down and we can get down to business preparing for the upcoming important season.
