Is gonna be off the chain. I'm super stoked for it! A chance to end the streak and we very well could be 2-0 heading into it with a chance at a huge 3-0 Start if we win.

The South Carolina game was absolutely ridiculous last year. Hoping to see the same in the Florida, Auburn and UT games. UK should be very competitive this year. Catch a few breaks and we could make some serious noise. Love seeing 3 night games to get things started.

Hopefully a night game - that's always subject to change. If the crowd lends the same level of support that we did last year at the USC game the CATS will knock these guys off.

Once the TV times come out it's set in stone..they've already set the TV times for the first 3 weeks..not able to change them now

I'd be really surprised if Florida wins more than 6 games this season.

Don't be fooled by the Muschamp era. There is still enough talent there to win on any given Saturday. Not saying they will win the east this year, but this is a program that will still be favored more times than not this year.

Some of our fans are loading up their chips for the Florida game. I get it. True, we should have beaten Florida last year. But the exact same was true in 1993, 2003, and 2007. We should have beaten Florida those 3 years. Florida followed up those 3 close wins with decisive wins over us in the following years. It would be fantastic to break this losing streak. Some day soon, we will. Two things though. Our fans are underestimating how well Muschamp recruited at Florida. And they are really underestimating what a good coach Jim McElwain is. We have some things going for us. Our team is improving, and this game will be in Lexington. That helps. But I disagree with your prediction. I think Florida will improve significantly under McElwain this year. People predicting a bad season for Florida don't understand what a good coach like McElwain can do with the roster Muschamp left him. Not saying that we can't beat Florida in Lexington. We might pull it off, but I am worried about the matchup between Florida's quick edge rushers and our slow offensive tackles, not to mention Vernon Hargreaves may be the SEC's best defensive back. I look for Kentucky to win 2 games in September. I don't care which 2 of our September games we win. If we win 2 in September, I think we win 6-7 on the season and get invited to a bowl. If we win 3 games in September, will be looking for an 8 win season and Stoops SEC COY.

Have you seen Gators roster?
Do you know anything about their new coach?

Yeah UK is deeper on offensive line than Florida is. They will probably be breaking in a new QB. UK is probably stronger at wide receiver than Florida. They will be excellent on defense. Their coach seems talented based on his record from the mid-majors, I would anticipate him to have them winning 9 or 10 games within 2-3 years.

I don't know any team breaking in almost an entirely new offense with a new coaching staff to do very well. And from what I've seen most "experts" agree that this will be an extremely down year for Florida.

I actually think this is the best year for Kentucky to break that streak. I do think McElwain will be a good coach at Florida though I don't think he is a miracle worker. His success will follow a similar pattern at UF that he did at CSU; gradual improvement each year. Muschamp was an excellent recruiter on the defensive side of the ball, but their offense is on life support.

It's true that Florida's recruiting classes have been high top 10 but they have had a lot of attrition. As I have said before, it's not what you get, it's what you keep - and develop.
