It is pretty clear that this new ruling of fining or punishing for fake injuries is not going to work. Story faked an injury earlier (was jogging to the sideline to sub, then realized he wouldn't make it in time, so dropped to the ground).
Then acted hurt for a couple of minutes after. But this is clearly what is going to happen now, players are just going to put on a better/longer show and basically beg the SEC to try to make that judgement call (they won't). I know we don't really care because our offense is too slow for people to hardly ever use that tactic against us, but training staff are just going to remind guys to put on a longer "show" now is the only thing that is going to change.
Also, not saying all of the injuries tonight were fake, UT is booing them all, fake or not, but I am just saying that tonight shows that teams are just going to adapt to the rule and it isn't going to change fake injuries.
