Former Wisconsin QB Visits SEC School
Former Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz visited the Florida Gators. He shared a post of him in Gainesville. Will he play for Billy Napier?

The only way to prevent picks is to not throw any passes. Picks happen for many reasons. Receiver runs wrong route. Cornerback jumps the route and makes a play. Receiver fails to make the catch and accidentally tips the ball into the air. Pass gets tipped at the line of scrimmage. Quarterback gets hit by a rusher while in the act of throwing. Wind blows the pass off target. Quarterback overthrows or underthrows. Quarterback misreads coverage. Some of these reasons are the quarterback's fault, some are not. The receiver's skill and assignment discipline are just as important. He threw 5 TD’s in a High School All American game, leaving evaluators asking if he was a Five-Star QB.
He once completed 20 of 21 passes in a game for Wisconsin.
He has thrown as many as 5 picks in a single game.
Frankly, it sounds like his confidence gets shaken during bad performances, rendering them horrible.
I found this YouTube film that seems pretty balanced.
Maybe a change of latitude does him good.
Agree. A lot of really talented evaluators on this board, can watch 2 minutes of film and tell if a guy's a bum.Probably heading to UF pretty obvious our Football Bennies on this board do not want him
If healthy, you simply have to like Leary ... !!Mertz is visiting Florida this weekend so maybe he’s not a sure thing. Hopefully the Leary rumors of UKs interest are true.
A saw a prediction this morning saying Uiagalelei is headed to UF, Oregon, or UCLA. I do not see any mention that he ever considered Kentucky.Probably heading to UF pretty obvious our Football Bennies on this board do not want him
Does Scangarello have a brother that coaches at Wisconsin?Run, run, run. Pass only in emergency situations when it is 3rd and 10 or longer. Pass only in OBVIOUS passing situations.
Sound familiar?
Not any more. I think their whole staff got canned this year. And for good reason. Lol.Does Scangarello have a brother that coaches at Wisconsin?
I understand developing a deep QB room requires a lot especially given the portal environment we are in these days. But man I sure would like to see us at least develop thru the recruiting process and not always live year to year in the portal. This is my thinking. If he comes here and Coen turns him into a high draft pick, that would add tremendous amo to UK's QB recruiting efforts.
Best chance the kid has is a new school/start..which he will get at Kentucky now. Just can't sugar coat the fact.......he hasn't been very good at Wisconsin the past two years. I've seen him play twice in person and many times on TV since he played in the B1G with Iowa. Hope you guys see him do good things next year.He threw 5 TD’s in a High School All American game, leaving evaluators asking if he was a Five-Star QB.

At first I was a little “Leary” to post this , lol . This guy is definitely in the loop .Well…….I hesitate to even say this but . The person that told me about Coen , the Vandy running back, and Mertz texted me that we have reached out to Devin Leary . Please temper expectations because he does not know the level of interest from Leary . Just that we made contact with him today.
