Absurdly high expectations aren't his fault nor do they change the numbers. It was always goofy to set the floor at Clyde Drexler and set the ceiling at on the next evolutionary step improvement on Jordan or so.

Some of his issue was taking way too many threes and Pitino also hating the mid range jumper which Rhodes should have been strongly pushed to concentrate on which would have been more than plenty to allow him to beat his man with great regularity.

Shoot or transfer rule needed an exception because he was never going to get what a good shot was so put him in positions where the margin for error is higher and passing is more likely after drawing a defender.
