Stoops sees himself as a great football mind.
As such, he knows a huge number of offensive plays...and they're all in the playbook.
The problem with a huge playbook is that there isn't enough time to practice any individual
play until they become second nature. As a result NONE of our players know ANY of our plays
extremely well. So mistakes are made...and it's not going to stop unless he reduces the playbook.
Our defense is doing what this particular defense was designed to do; we're basically playing a prevent defense all game
long and the prevent defense was never designed to stop teams from scoring, just to stop them
from scoring fast. The prevent defense was never meant to be a game long defense.
