Exactly. Our defense is talented enough to have shut Carolina down. Certainly wasn't pleased with the offense but they at least have a reason. Defense had zero excuses for that flat performance.

The top 25 is littered with teams that score 30+. We did that most of last year and was successful. The new OC has tried to get too fancy with Levi's instead of just letting him play football. Making a tough run gets him going and motivated the team. Instead of turning him lose like Coen did, we are trying to mold him into a prototype NFL QB. He ended up injured anyways.

Teams now realize that Levis will rarely run so they can pin their ears back and not worry about containment. It makes it even harder on our offensive line .
