EDIT: We play Ohio State in Brooklyn this year.
We are #1 regardless if we start the season as no one has the talent we have thanks to Murray committing . If we hadn't gotten him then IMO Kansas and UNC might have a case . Duke is with teams like Iowa St in that next bracket .
Murray was asked this question after the USA game, and he said he wouldn't play because he would be in class.

Congratulations to Jamal Murray and that entire organization though. They got a medal for the first time in their history at the Pan Am Games. It'll also be a terrific learning experience for Murray, and he walked away averaging good numbers against competition that would wax a heavy majority of the college basketball teams.

It is simple Kyle isn't very good . Especially not on that level . He can't play D , He is very easy to guard ect. He will make a few million over in China or Greece after college and then go into business doing something or other at age 30 or so . Nothing wrong with it . He never was UK level really as he doesn't even have the athleticism of a guy like Willis for example. Over in Gongaza against the Pacific and Portlands of the world no one will notice .
Before this, I had him at 17 ppg. I'll maintain that for now, but if he gets 32 mpg, I could definitely see him getting 19 ppg in college.
think we have too many weapons for him to be over that much . Lets say we score 80-84 a game as i think this will be Cal's best offensive team at UK ( and a middle of the road Defensive one ) so it breaks down like that . What i do think will happen is one night Murray might got for 30 and another Poy goes for 25 and another night someone like Mulder hits 6 threes and scores 21 ect .

I figured the same numbers, except I have around 11 for Ulis, and Willis and Hawkins have a lot of DNP games.
This team needs to get out and run in transition. Very deadly transition team, and a lot of hard nosed defenders.
The reason I could see Murray with 19 though, is he averaged over 16 ppg against much, much better competition in the Pan Am games.
