I am guessing there would be rules in place to prevent it being used for an advantage than actual game play just like the do for playing music etc over the speaker system.Im guessing it isn't a sanctioned floor by the NCAA, similar to the NBA. I'd be surprised if it ever is, but who knows....
It is cool though.
It could definitely give an unfair home court advantage if taken to the extreme.
Its got like little raised rubber dots on it..They say it’s got similar grip to a wood floor but I have to wonder how grippy it is when it gets wet.
Yes..the floor they had last year for one game has been fixed and is back.Anyone know if the old awkward floor from years prior is now gone? Something about the new one they tried last year was too slick or something? Is it fixed? I loved the state of KY in the middle vs that hideous bank logo.
The expense of that has got to be insane. The floor doesn't belong to Rupp. It's being rented for a one time thing. One time thing. I'm sure Rupp will use it for all kinds of events going forward though.

That hot crazy scale video if it's the one I'm thinking of is a classic 😂That usually directly coincides with where they fall on the Hot/crazy scale.
Or make the floor "crack" every time they dribble.Could be an advantage, their best shooter on the foul line, game on the line and floor goes studio 54 crazy.
That is exACTLY what she said. Its got like little raised rubber dots on it..
Eventually it will for a number of reasons but the primary being potential brand marketing space. Naming rights on steroids.Im guessing it isn't a sanctioned floor by the NCAA, similar to the NBA. I'd be surprised if it ever is, but who knows....

It started off all glitchy with like 10 frames a sec refresh rate, looks like they fixed it tho, pretty sweet. That floor looks awesome.
Make it lava, even better!😁Or make the floor "crack" every time they dribble.
