The eerie irony behind the Couch Towels at the game

With the Ky sniper still at large and the man suspect being a Ky man named Couch, I found it awfully eerie with all the Ky fans flaunting the Couch towels tonight.

I know it was to honor Tim, but man that was strange.

Does anyone know if the maniac Couch is related to Tim?

Arent they both from the Corbin area of the state?
