Talking about how JayWill is so embarrassed...Etc..

End of the game was crazy, Duke was expecting the fouls to be given to them. Syracuse may have fouled on the loose ball at the end, but it was a good no call, everyone has a right to go for the ball. That being said, I was surprised the whistle wasn't blown. UK is struggling on the road, but wow Duke drops 2 in a row at home? Can't say I saw that coming. Everyone is losing, there really are no great teams. If Cal gets this team clicking by March (no reason to doubt him), we go into the tourney with as much talent as anyone. Just need to take care of business at home, fight to the death on the road and learn from whatever happens.

I think folks are getting a taste of how difficult it really is to coach freshman to the top. One and done is portrayed as the easy road to success. As we all know, its a damn tough path to follow. Since Ratface has stepped in the crap, maybe folks will get the picture.

Are they talking about hypothetical-only replacements for K yet?

Didn't see any.....Farrrr K.....posts....but some are clearly upset with the style of play....only player that got a pass today was Marshal Plumlee (he did have a good game...only one that really hustled hard).....I think that Syracuse zone really played havoc with Duke..

I hate the loose ball foul calls. How can a ref call a foul on one or the other when both are going for a loose ball? I'm glad they didn't call one at the end.

Sounds about Rupp Rafters after a UK loss and sometimes after a Win. Duke has really looked bad in last 3-4 games. Some of there players are like UK and have one good game, 2 no-shows, and then back to a good game. Looks like Plumlee had a nice game with double/double with 19 and 17 but previous 2 games he looked like Poythress numbers in 8 points and 7 points. The guards are doing the same in one game hitting 45-50 from 3 and next can't hit a 3. The one thing have noticed with Duke though and even though they have Ingram 6'9 and Plumlee 6'11 underneath right now they still shot the ball 37 times from 3 and that was 60% of there shots and made 10/37 for 27%. In there Clemson loss they shot 50 times and 25 were from 3's. Duke normally shoots anywhere from 30-35 times from 3 point range. They have very seldom went into Plumlee and Ingram inside to get easy shots. They live and die by the 3 and tonight vs Syracuse and Jim Boeheim he had his great Zone "D" working and if you can hold Duke for 10/37 from 3 for 27% and they shoot 60% from 3 and go only 23/65 for 35% overall and outrebound them like Syracuse did on the Offensive Boards you will beat Duke just like we did in Beginning of the year.

I felt that the Duke player was fouled on the rebound. He had actually grabbed the ball when the Cuse player barreled in to him and knock the ball loose. Cuse player was late to the party. As for the shot it looked like good defense, but you'd have to have been an official to see that play unless they've shown a new angle different than the original one.

It probably was a foul.... but I saw Plumlee get away with the same amount of contact at least 3 times in the last 3 minutes of play without calls. Refs did a good job of calling the game even down the stretch.

Looking at their schedule in late Jan and Feb Coach K may be the most amazed person in college basketball

It's very confusing for me....on one hand screw Duke and I hope they miss the tournament. But on the other I REALLY want Grayson Allen to declare so we can clearly be the best team next year. Hopefully he averages 25 and they keep losing.

K was amazed that Duke didn't get the calls they needed down the stretch. I mean this is Cameron, for crissakes.

If Duke keeps losing games at this pace, they might not get their traditional number one seed in Greensboro. They may be relegated to the number one seed out west.

On the play before that loose ball no call, Syracuse missed a jumper and Matt Jones "boxed" out by putting a left forearm in the back of the Syracuse player practically knocking him into the cheerleaders, then grabbed the rebound for a Duke fastbreak. Great no call...lol

They miss Amile Jefferson, he's still out. That gives them a better inside presence. One guy for Syracuse (Roberson, I think) had 20 rebounds.

I watched the game and told the people I was watching it with Duke will get one or two calls with in the last three minutes to pull this out. I was totally shocked when they didn't and yes Plumlee did walk on his great move. I think the only one more shocked than me was coach K lol !!

Yep. Calipari has made it look easy to those who don't pay attention. There's a reason many coaches hate the idea of going after OADs like Cal and K have- IT'S HARD. Yeah, the payout at the end can be HUGE, but it's a tough road to get there, getting these teams anchored by freshmen to learn and come together on both sides of the ball.
