The difference between the 1st half and 2nd half offense?

I had to work today so I couldn’t watch nor listen to the game. I did check in often on ESPN gamecast and the offense was much better in the 2nd half it seemed. What was the difference? The defense played well enough to win if the offense had been better.

I think the biggest thing was Levis ran the ball more in the second half. When he’s a threat to run it changes everything.

Basically they went no huddle.

One we scored 0.
Both were bad, and there really wasn't much difference between the two.

So it was more like last year’s offense?

We connected on a couple of long routes, which may have softened up the run defense a bit, and had at least one critical penalty go our way.

More like it. Last year the line was so much better and WanDale was an all timer.

I know he’s been hurt for a few weeks but they didn’t run him early on either. My biggest complaint about the offense.

Pretty telling that he runs now after stoops pretty much put media heat on him last Monday

It was Stoops finally admitting game was over and letting us be aggressive last 20 minutes of game
Passed to set up run - nothing to lose mentality
He cannot let himself do this normally
He likes to play chicken shit don’t make a mistake football

Based on his comments Monday, it's been fine enough to run and the staff is encouraging him to run. Then the CBS crew said in his interviews, Levis admitted to playing too conservative and was going to turn loose a little. Plus tonight he he had to come out after the run for the first.

So sounds like it was a personal choice at least the last few games

We got 6 yards in the third quarter, I wouldn’t say the second half was much better! We had a couple good drives, don’t think that makes Scang a great coordinator.
