It’s just four regular fans on a podcast and they are very young. I think the content is very good if you aren’t listening to it for deep analysis. That was surprisingly bad. Out of 4 guys, none of them knew a single thing about Vandy. That is wild for SEC basketball fans.

You aren’t wrong though. When someone calls “Memorial Gymnasium” the wrong name like “Memorial Coliseum”, it drives me nuts. Two of the most iconic home courts in CBB history are not to be confused.
With respect to Vandy and Kentucky, having entirely new rosters makes it harder for a lot of opposing fanbases to know the squads at a typical level. Kentucky, being a top 10 team, is going to get enough coverage for people to know their roster a little more. I expect it will be a fun game, a lot of points to go around from two great offenses. To me, it comes down to whether we can contain Hoggard in pick and roll. If he starts carving, it could be a long day for the Wildcats.Right!
They’re like a lot of fans who know their team but nothing about other teams. Setup is great, love the background and general interaction.
Thanks for sharing though, I was just giving those guys some ribbing.

Yep, Edwards can get hot. How we defend the perimeter will be telling. You’d expect Kentucky to have an advantage inside, as you are undersized but Vandy is excellent at rebounding out in space. One of the Commodores’ greatest strengths is forcing turnovers. Unfortunately, the Wildcats are among the best in CBB at protecting the rock.If we get a lot from Hoggard, we usually win. I expect him to be more along the lines of what he averages (11p, 4a, 3r, 2s). If he exceeds those numbers, we’re probably in good shape.
Jason Edwards is important for us and Tyler Nickel is the wildcard. When Nickel shoots well, we are dangerous (except at Bama).
Our biggest key to me is our ability to take care of the ball and our ability to create turnovers. If we do those two things, we are very very good. If we don’t, we’re in deep doo doo.
We are a strange team though because outside of Jason Edwards, it’s hard to know who is having a good game, changes each game. We don’t have a true Robin to our Batman.
Welp, that didn’t age well! 🤣I’m going with the following prediction:
MVP: Andrew Carr
Imo Vandy’s defense isn’t good enough to win if they score in the 70s against our offense.I picked the under for today's game. Vandy tends to play in the 70s at home and it seems awkward for teams to play and shoot in this venue.
Hey thanks for posting our show! Sorry about the memorial slip up, it's tough getting every detail right as we only have one real shot to record and put it out. People often say it's harder than it looks but MAN this is way harder than it looks. We just started a few months ago so it'll get better, just going for a more laid back approach of just guys shooting the breeze and not get too stat heavy. Although we did talk a bit more in detail than we usually do. I know we may not be for everyone and that's okay. Either way thank you for sharing and checking it out! Go cats.
