Stellar second half. Such a mature, fundamentally sound post player. A lot of heart and a lot of discipline. Carried a huge weight against both Duke and Gonzaga. Some of you may not know this, but Carr's flight was cancelled . . . Pope drove 2.5 hours . . . etc.

I thought when he signed to transfer he was a good get. I saw him play several times at Wake and I always said to myself “why can’t we get a versatile big like that”. We will probably go as far as we can ride Carr’s back in the tournament. There are going to be games the shots aren’t falling and we need his inside presence.

He & JR were a great 1-2 combo although Carr does need to starting blocking out better lol. He gave up several offensive rebounds were he never attempted to check his man out, I know you’re tall bub but so are the other guys…….but definitely led the come back and played with confidence that we must have from the tip every game especially on the road.

It's pretty evident that Carr is not an aggressive type of player offensively unless you tell him to be or you really need him to be. He will give up the ball to the other players very easily but he'll take that damn ball when it's needed.
We're probably better off if he's just aggressive. From the jump. Letting the other players have shots isn't the best version of this team. The best version is with Carr leading the way.
That's how we beat Duke and Gonzaga.

I still can’t believe they were trying to call that an attempted play on the ball. He was nowhere near it and not trying for it
Should’ve been a flagrant. But Ike got away with a lot of dirty stuff during the game. I don’t know how Carr kept his composure
