Losing JR and LB has been rough as we all know. I mean at the beginning of the season if you had layed out a doomsday scenario for this team it would have included injuries to these two guys. But, let's look at where this team is now and where it may be provided there are no more setbacks.

If JR and LB had never gotten injured then we would not have the Perry/chandler/Noah that we have today. If our guys never got hurt then those 3 freshmen would have been no further along and then if we did need them to come in I believe we would see a huge drop-off from the starters. This stretch has done wonders for the 3 freshmen guards. Talk about being thrown into the fire. These 3 have grown up in a way that only these injuries could have allowed. Now once we are at full strength this team is exponentially deeper and we can seriously hurt you with our bench. On top of that, we weathered the storm with Caar and he looks to be closer to his old self. I do wish Almanor could have stepped up a bit more in his absence though.

With the additional playing time that Perry, Noah & Chandler has gotten as a result of the multiple injuries to different players. Foul trouble won't be a problem at the 1, 2 & 3 positions come tournament time.

The injuries have cost us probably 2 games, while there is some trade off with
other players being forced into key roles I'm not ready to call it a blessing. How
and for how long do the injured players return? Hopefully it is the best possible
outcome but we will have to wait and see/
