They are better than UGA. Pope is either going to completely change his offensive philosophy, or we are going to hope for a .500 finish in the SEC, because it won’t be any better if we live and die by the 3.MSU is probably better than UGA.
Is going be an interesting one. They do show up for the big ones, but will they match that on the road? For whatever reason we seem to tend to turn it back on for ranked teams. Let’s see if we can do it Saturday.
The good news: This season has been a pleasant surprise to most.MSU is probably better than UGA.
I'm probably not alone on this forum when I say I have a hard time imagining this team "pissed". Maybe Kerr, but the rest, nope. I mean, can anyone here imagine Jaxson or even Pope "pissed"?Is going be an interesting one. They do show up for the big ones, but will they match that on the road?
This game will tell a lot, at least for me. Do they come out pissed after that performance in Georgia? Do they show they have effort and grit to compete on the road? We play like last night and it’s a 20+ beatdown. I can live with a close loss with effort, but please no more lackadaisical ball.
When are ya'll going to learn that the better team does not always win games. If we play UGA 10 times in Athens, and we probably win that game 7 times. MSU in Starkville it might be more like 5 times.MSU is probably better than UGA.
We never dreamed we'd be as good as we are now in the preseason. This is a fun year with great wins as a bonus and I think we'll win a couple in the tournament.
This is where I am with this season. We've already exceeded my expectations this year, so I'm just enjoying the ride. I was disappointed with the game last night but not upset. The good news: This season has been a pleasant surprise to most.
