Thanks Cal! You have mastered taking a promising team and ruining anything consistent or hopeful. We've gone from the "UK standard" to the much diminished "UK under Cal standard" and it gets worse each season. Used to be the buzz of college Bball- now the buzz kill.

Never experienced anyone more stubborn and unwilling to improve themselves - but is instead happy to continue doing it "their" way and accept the crappy results... because... at least they got those crappy results doing it their way.

What appears to some as him being tone deaf and entrenched is really the deep narcissism he clearly deals with, and as is the case for anyone subject to dealing with a narcissist, we doing the suffering because of it - not the narcissist.

He has killed UK basketball - decades of success and tradition. Only hope is someone else who comes next will be able to rehabilitate the UK first program and fan base - and will value what could still be the best program and the most supportive fanbase. This will not happen with Cal... MAYBE early on there was some of that - but somewhere along the way his ego made this all about him and not UK. Sad state of affairs. Couple that with horrible AD leadership and the hits keep coming. Never dreamed UK would fall so far so fast and be a non-factor in the SEC much less nationally.

To be fair, Cal can't win in this situation (hear me out). Normally we roast him for not having enough depth. Now, we have too many players to have a regular rotation.

That being said, 90% of all D1 coaches would coach circles around Cal with this same talent.

Oh come on. Even this argument is specious. We do NOT have too many players. We have eight guys who should be seeing the floor for more than 10 minutes.

You left out Edwards. He may not be playing up to draft expectations, but he needs minutes.
