Ouch......CRod has to keep the ball when he sees it was already absolutely blown up. Take the loss of a few yards.
That said, I don't understand that play call. If you're running it, have the wide receiver in motion toward the backfield to get the pitch or handoff and not where he lined up to start the play.
He would have had to run 40+ yards just to get to the other side of the field.
Scrap it please.
