They are very average team with a stud in Johnson. It’s not a terrible loss. It just stings, that sequence with Johnson where we were up 5 will bother me, because Kentucky had multiple chances to get a rebound

maybe they are a tourney team full strength. i think they’re kind of soft. they had us without a pg, running 5 men behind the arc, having us stretched, and they really didn’t cause any deflections or anything. they ran into our screeners and allowed us to back cut them. the problem for us is we still turned it over. the stats were deceiving tonight. even oweh had 20. and we had what 15 turnovers? but we all watched. we had about 40 bad passes in this game.

I used to be that way, and then I just learned it solves nothing. The loss hurts, but the season isn’t over. Just find a way to win 3 and get to 20-11 somehow and go from there.

They are a bubble team and projected 11 seed. “Good” and “bad” are vague descriptors, but I wouldn’t classify them as good. I certainly wasn’t impressed with them other than Johnson. We gifted them this game with our unforced errors. It’s still a quad 1A loss, but it’s a team that may not even be in the tourney. We have now lost to all of the SEC bubble teams - Arky, Georgia, and Texas.

When we don't hit 3 pt shots, we will not beat very many SEC teams. Just a fact. Our offense depends on hitting 3s and our defense is not good enough to beat good teams if we are not hitting our 3s. If we are not really good from the 3 pt line against Auburn at home and Bama on the road, we are in deep shvt.
