Will we ever get them at home? They joined in 2012, we played in College Station in 2018. Just wondering if the ne alignment will mess things up.

It's too bad we're not getting them this year instead of Bama. Since A&M joined in 2012 we've only played them once and that was at their place. This will be like the 4th time we've played Bama in that time frame.

Compared to the last several years, this is not a bad time to play Bama. Especially at home. We might lose. But we will not have to block Will Anderson and stop Brice Young. We aspire to beat Georgia. We can aspire to beat Bama.

With Texas coming into the conference and likely being one of A&M's permanent opponents they might be ready to unload Jimbo. Just a guess but the 2 schools with the most money have 2 of the worst coaches. People forget Jimbo was on the verge of being fired at FSU and Jamis came alone, Sark was fired at USC, not entirely r ly for his record, but it wasn't great either.

Supposed to have them at home in 2025, but as you stated, that might not happen until later with the realignment. It’s crazy that they joined the SEC in 2012 and we aren’t scheduled to host them for another couple seasons.

If the 3/6 plan is adopted, then we will see those who are not our 3 annual opponents, every other year, alternating home and away.

It will likely end up that we see Bama, A & M, Texas, Oklahoma, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss and Arkansas every-other-year, as I have seen no projection that these teams will be among our annual three protected opponents.

Yep, so it’s possible we don’t see them at home for another couple of years after that. We might go 15 years that they’ve been in the SEC before they play in Lexington.

They joined in ‘12, and we go to the new schedule in ‘24; if we play them in the first year of the new schedule, that would be the 13th year; and if in 2025, the 14th year.

It would only be “fair,” if we get the first A & M game in Lexington, since we went to College Station in ‘18.

So, yes, Hoover could screw us, and make us go to CS, again in ‘24/‘25, only requiring a first game in Lexington in ‘26/‘27 . . . . meaning their first trip to Kentucky could come as late as their 16th season in the League!!

Got any faith in the SEC offices to get this right?

Me, no mucho!

On the flip side.. Georgia has never played at TA&M. You can count on the conference making sure that happens ASAP with new schedule format in 24
