Texas A&M weirdos make lazy hillbilly jokes

Cause of the crab legs guy.
I watched an interview from some of the coaches Jimbo left behind at Florida St. They said Jamis Winston basically held the coaches hostage. He would practice when he wanted. Go to class when he wanted. Steal crab legs when he wanted. Then he started to demand his possee didn’t have to practice. Totally destroyed the culture of that program. Jimbo allowed it because he was that good. When he left he couldn’t get any culture back. Why he left for A&M.

Wth. That's some pretty serious sht. I don't care how good a player is. You can't let that happen.

There is a massive misperception about Applachian State and Boone here in this forum and down in Texas. Boone resides in Watuaga County, which likely boost some of the highest elevations in the eastern US. As such, the High Country has median property value in excess of half million dollars, which I am guessing is higher than College Station, TX. Furthermore, most of the students that attend App State are not from the mountains at all. Many are urban North Carolina kids who couldn't get into UNC because UNC accepts very selectively in state or kids from the northeast and other urban cities in the southeast who want to ski and hike on the weekends. The only thing hillbilly about App State is their name and mascot.

Probably lots of hippies like Asheville;)

I lived in Texas for a year, some of the most backward, country bumpkins you have ever seen. They have nothing to brag about.

It really is cultish. I work with a lot of TAMU grads. Whoop and Gig’‘em gets old. Almost all always have their class ring on. Been to several UK TAMU basketball games at Ed Reed. They are very gracious hosts, though.

I’m a hillbilly and other than this guy being the most dry and unfunny person in the state of Texas I had no problem with what he said.

Even when I get into a Backstreet Boys or Jewel mood in the car…it’s less gay than the Midnight Yell or whatever they call it.

I read a comment posted elsewhere that if college football was a religion A&M would be the Scientology branch.
