I don't agree with making athletes play on Thanksgiving and Christmas. That said....GO PACKERS! 830pm tonight PACKERS vs BEARS! Favre retirement too.

Interesting match up, Texas A&M should be really good this year, and judging by their early results, they are. I've watched their two Freshmen Davis and Hogg (high school teammates) play since their Sophomore year in high school, and both of those guys are really good. House went off for 30 on us last year. I haven't seen them play as a team yet. There is a really good chance that they will beat us in College Station this year.

Good looking early season game. I want to see the SEC teams do well. I'd like to have seen Vandy beat Kansas. But they didn't close the game out very well.

If the officiating is anything like it was last season...you are right. In a fairly called game, I doubt it.

Alabama down 21 to Xavier. So far their new coach has not impressed, but in in a couple of years AJ might get better.

Zags are overrated at #10. Then again it speaks to the weak field this season.

They were overrated last year, yet would have got a 1 seed (absurd) if they had not lost late in the year. I fear we will have to hear the same nonsense this year and that disgusts me.

A&M just bricked a layup....what a joke. The FRAUD Gonzaga will win again. They are so goofy looking. They will pad their win/loss record and then flame out in the NCAA Tourney against an athletic team.

Terrible last possession by Gonzaga.

Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Kentucky look impressive so far this early season. Florida has a lot of talent as well. Good year for SEC basketball.

Texas A&M gonna be a problem. Billy Kennedy is an underrated coach and Rick Stansbury is an assistant for the Aggies. They always play us tough at College Station and this year will be another hard-fought game.

I don't know that the ZAGS are over rated. I think they got the right mix of players and simply got out coached just a little, down the stretch.

Gonzaga looks like the more challenging match-up for Kentucky (even though A & M won) because of the combination of their big physical big men along with outside shooting. That means now.

Hopefully Skal will build up during the season and Humphries (and possibly the kid from New Zealand) might add some physical skilled play and bulk to the team's interior.

One thing that I don't understand and there sure have been enough games that coaches would figure it out, and that is driving on Wiltjer. He still looks slow defensively and isolating against him would seem like a logical thing that no one ever seems to do. But, then last year it seemed painfully obvious that you should continually foul Okafor if he got in close and rarely was that done either.

USC topped Wichita State. Not too surprised by that since the Shockers don't have Fred Van Fleet. Good thing the Trojans shot 12 of 23 from three since they had 23 turnovers.
And excellent win for Texas A&M. With a very good senior in House and a very talented freshmen class, they should be in for a fine season.

Tam will be a tough matchup physically for our inside players who prefer and deal better with a finesse game . I'm sure we'll toughen up some but there is a lot of room for growth and I consider that our most glaring weakness . The good thing is Skal has a great shot , so pushing him away from the basket is not necessarily a victory .

I don't understand why we play them at their place for the second straight year. Does anyone have an explanation.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. I love Bilas as an Analyst but he us one of many that keeps talking about Gonzaga like they are great. Did it last year and is doing it again this year. Sorry, I just don't see it. They just look so unathletic to me.

I could easily see the Aggies winning as Gonzaga ( per usual ) don't impress me all that much.

I don't think there's ever been a more overrated program than the zags. Good teams, well coached, but not final four caliber. They never are and really I can't remember one big upset they won in the tournament. The seem to just beat who they are suppose to and lose when they're supposed to lose.

If Duke ends up an eight seed, we all know who the 1 will be.

EVERYONE TO THEIR REGIONS **** minus Duke head out west young men. You've got the ZAGS****

Bilas - no favoritism here folks.
Rafters - bilas is so honest and trustworthy.
Bilas - UNC did no wrong.
Rafters - thank you sir may we have another?
