Carr at the 5, less Garrison

The longer the season goes I'm kinda hoping the Garrison transfer rumors are accurate, to me he has regressed in almost all aspects of the game and his basketball IQ was never there. Not trying to be a dick but it will be bad next year if he's the starting 5.
It just comes natural to you then if you're not really trying.

Amari has to start getting over 30 mins a game unless foul trouble limits him but there’s no scenario where I can see having AA and BG on the floor at the same time outside of foul issues. Carr or Amari has to be in the lineup at all times for this team to be successful, AA has definitely shown he can shoot but if he’s not hitting or able to get his shot off then you can’t play him. Noah defends better and hustles more and has an eye for rebounding plus we know he can score and shoot but Pope has to be conscious of his lineups and the hockey line changes I feel have hurt us way more than helped.

Agree entirely. BGs hurts us the most on the defensive end, and Carr's a much higher IQ defender than Garrison. Carr's biggest issue defensively is his lack of speed which in theory should be negated by guarding 5s, though he will be forced to hedge and recover a lot more in PnR, something Garrison is currently terrible at.

Offensively it limits you more than with Carr at the 5, but Carr at the 5 and Almonor/Noah at the 4 is likely better than Garrison at the 5 and any of those guys at the 4. But even if its similar, the defensive improvement is by far where it will pay the most dividends. Duke game is a great example of this.
