Terrence Clarke hype growing

He tends to exaggerate a bit.

Boston is a probable lottery pick, with a shot at top 5.

Clarke is right behind him.

I see Sarr and Brooks as high end 2nd rounders and Mintz to go undrafted and play overseas somewhere.

The rest return or go undrafted, if they declare.

So UK probably has two lottery picks and two 2nd round picks on this year’s roster. Askew, Jackson, Fletcher, and Ware will probably eventually be draft picks (probably in the ‘22 draft or later). Allen is being hyped on this board, but he is coming off a serious injury and has missed a lot of time, so he is a wait and see.

Lots of young talent on this team, but we aren’t two deep with lottery picks like some want to believe.

The guys a joke at this point . He’s been wrong more than all the rest of the posters on this site put together , lol.

Great size in that lineup with them all being around 6’6 at the 1-3 spots.

Cal likes to go big, so we might see it.

I think it is more likely we see Clarke and Boston at the 1 and 2, with Brooks at the 3, Jackson or Ware at the 4, and Sarr at the 5, when Cal wants to go big.

But I am hoping Allen will be ready and lives up to the hype he is being given on this board.

I think a realistic expectation for Allen is that he sees 10 minutes or so a game this season and then assumes a key role as a rotation player or possibly starts in 21-22.

But I would love to see a Kentucky boy in a key role this season.

We have never won a title without a Kentucky kid as a starter or a guy getting starter minutes (Miller in ‘12).

There are hardly no " cant miss " players or " cant miss " teams . anymore But we elevate these guys so high before they ever play a game and it hurts them , sets them up to fail not succeed. IMO .

Boston blew up for good reason but Clarke didnt get the same exposure sr year.

Who is better? We’ll find out but im not sleeping on Clarke.
