Terrance Clarke

He’s not really an elite vertical leaper. If you look at his highlight videos, when the perspective isn’t from under the basket it’s clear he doesn’t get his head up to the rim. (I’d be happy to be shown otherwise.)

He will get it done, though.

Handing out pizza's and working hard in the off season. This kid is doing the right thing's, he might be the next John Wall fandom wise.

kid has almost 200k followers and got 8k+ likes for posting a dumb video of a dunk.

keep thinking these kids need to go to college for exposure and to build a brand. lol

And he's not a particularly hyped recruit.

Didn't have the games on espn, isn't a YouTube star, doesn't play alongside Bronny or Melo or any of the big names.

Obviously a year here will grow his popularity, but so would getting drafted in the lottery. And he's not exactly starting from zero.

And a large chunk of those numbers are UK fans which wouldn’t be there if he weren’t coming here. Another top notch post.

Was this meant as a joke? If so, bravo. If not, then it is unintentionally hilarious in that it supports the opposite position.

You realize the vast majority of those 200,000 supporters are Kentucky fans? And he’s being talked about today by a large national fan base? You think if he’d blown off college and was quarantined in New Zealand, or getting ready to play for the Ft Wayne Mad Ants that would be the case?

Just by signing with Kentucky he’s established a brand much more than any other path he could have taken. Any path for an 18-year old basketball player can be difficult, but he’s ahead of where he’d be under virtually any other circumstance.

i remember checking his instagram page when he released his top 5

It's insane to me that he had 80k followers as a rising senior in high school.

It really is incredible that more of these kids don't get themselves into social media trouble. Give 16 year old me the chance to talk to nearly a hundred thousand people and I'd have been a menace.

A lot of his followers are fans of the school he was looking at during his recruitment. He wouldn’t have close to that many followers if it wasn’t for that reason alone.

Terrence Clarke reminds me of Blade.

I like those vampire-killing alphas (pictured on left: Jalen Johnson):
