Our collective batting average is just low enough to kill rallies. And our lineup doesn't force the opposing pitcher to pitch to our better hitters. They can just go right at them or nibble whatever they want to do. Last year, we had some batters get their batting average bumped up by pitchers wanting to avoid the next hitter.

Kentucky is out hitting them 5 to 3 and still losing due to walks. Their pitcher has just 42 pitches in the 5th.
