Team getting shots up in Indy

If there is a shooting detriment attributable to domes, it would affect us much more than ut. Hopefully Brea isn't the only one hitting shots.

Idk.. it might REALLY hurt a streaky Tenn team though. Granted, they don't have as far to fall to get to 0% shooting as we do (lol).. but remember that 1st game they shot horrifically to end the 2nd half. Shot themselves right out of it actually.

In the two games of the 2014 Midwest Regional in the same Lucas Oil Stadium Kentucky shot a combined 11 for 25 on 3-pointers for a better than respectable 44 percent. A couple of those were Aaron Harrison game winners against Louisville and Michigan. And that Kentucky team only averaged 33 percent from 3 for the year.

So, let's hope that history repeats itself.

Is the layout different than in the past? At least for the ff they use the whole stadium don’t they?

Someone will certainly remember better than me.

No, the Regionals only use the endzone and curtain the rest off.

The Final Four will use the entire venue.

This is a dry run for the Final Four next season in Indianapolis.

Houston drew the short end of the stick in the 1 seeds. They will be there with three other fanbases that have much less mileage to travel and is within driving distance of all of them.

Kentucky & Purdue will have the most fans there by far. I have to give the edge to Kentucky as they will take over Indianapolis. I'm glad we have the first session.

West Lafayette, IN (Purdue) - 67 miles - 1hr, 7 mins.
Lexington, KY (Kentucky) - 185 miles - 2hr, 53 mins.
Knoxville, TN (Tennessee) - 356 Miles - 5hr, 17 mins.
Houston, TX (Houston) - 1,026 miles - 14hrs, 15 mins.
