Sadly they have to put that out because people have complained on stuff like that before. We don't have the smartest bananas in the bunch these days......Just got a message from our cable/internet provided telling us that if the power goes out that our internet and cable will also be affected....
I mean, hurricanes are no joke. But I get they're kinda in disbelief because TB hasn't seen a storm quite like this in nearly 100 years.

The winds died down decently but the flooding is pretty bad.
Fortunate is right. From Sunday until yesterday after the tornadoes hit, we had close to 10 inches of rain, mostly from a stalled frontal boundary. If we hadn't been on the dry side when Milton came through a hundred or so miles to the north of us around 2:00 AM, we'd have had a major flooding event on top of all the tornado damage. There were 5 confirmed dead in a golf community about 10 miles from us, and about three miles away, the St Lucie Co sheriff's office sustained major damage. One of my neighbors is an electrician who said he was working across the road from it when it hit the building. He said it was surreal to watch that happen right in front of you. There was also a subdivision about 3 miles to the south of us on the same side of US-1 that was hard hit. All said, we're safe and our power came back on a few minutes ago.
I would like to point out, @bbncal02, that I'm 100% supportive of this guy getting arrested and I'm sure the dog is a good boy.
